Signature Series: gospel-soul keys over 808 knock, choir swells, church organ, the lift, and a sonic signature at the top of every track.
Space Mode: glass keys, wide supersaw pads, shimmer an octave up, stereo that orbits your head, distant comms chatter, and a starfield that warps with the music.

Pads
Strike higher on a pad for more velocity. Computer keys 1–4, Q–R, A–F and Z–V play the pads. Arm record and press play to write your hits into the pattern.
Channel rack
Tap a step to cycle full, soft, roll and off. Click a row name to tune that voice below. The chain plays one pattern per bar inside each section.
ArrangementClick a section to jump there. Double-click to loop it. Click a cell to switch that part on or off.
Chord progression
Eight bars, written relative to the key. Ninths, elevenths and thirteenths give the warm church color. Applying rebuilds the bass and melody to fit.
Key and tuning
Expression surfaceSlide sideways to bend. Move up or down to shape the tone.
ControllersKeyboards, pad controllers and knobs
Not connected.
Keys play the surface instrument; mod wheel shapes the tone and pitch bend bends. Knobs on CC 70–74 run the five Character knobs, 75 reverb, 76 delay, 77 tape drive. For anything else, press MIDI learn, click a knob here, then move a control on your device.
Vocal booth
Use wired headphones while recording if you can. If you use Bluetooth headphones, set Latency to about 200 ms so takes line up, and choose your phone or computer mic rather than the headset mic, which switches Bluetooth into low-quality call mode. Takes live in this browser tab until you export.

Loudness
The live readout is an estimate. Export measures the whole song properly (ITU-R BS.1770 integrated loudness), sets it to your target and limits peaks to −1 dB.
Export
The master renders the whole arrangement at the current tempo, including vocal takes and recorded performances. Stems download one WAV per group (drums, bass, keys, leads, choir, vocals, atmosphere) without the loudness step, ready for a mix engineer. MIDI carries every part on its own track.
Your heartbeat
Heart monitor: a Bluetooth chest strap or band that broadcasts standard heart rate (most Polar, Wahoo and Coospo straps; Garmin in broadcast mode). Camera: cover the back camera and flash with a fingertip and hold still. Tap: tap this button in time with the pulse at your wrist.
Sync
Breath pacer
Inhale as the circle grows, exhale as it shrinks. Slow breathing near six breaths a minute is widely used in relaxation and heart-rate-variability training.
Frequency layers
Stack tones, binaural beats or rain under the music. Binaural beats need headphones.
Frequency AcademyWhat you are hearing, in plain language
Heartbeat sync, honestly
Tempo follow sets the music's beat to your measured pulse, or to a multiple of it, so the groove moves with you. Calm guide then eases the tempo a few beats below your pulse. Slower music and slow breathing are linked to small drops in heart rate and arousal in many studies, but your heart does not simply lock to a tempo. Treat it as a relaxation aid, not a treatment.
Heart-rate variability (RMSSD) measures how much the gap between beats changes. Higher numbers usually mean a calmer state. Consumer readings vary and are not a medical measurement.
Bluetooth, latency and recording
- Heart monitors must broadcast the standard heart rate service. Most chest straps do; most smartwatches, including Apple Watch, do not by default.
- Bluetooth MIDI keyboards and pad controllers connect directly here in Chrome or Edge on a computer or Android phone. Safari does not support Web Bluetooth.
- Bluetooth headphones delay sound by roughly 150 to 300 milliseconds. Set the Latency knob so recorded takes land on the beat, or record with wired headphones.
- If this studio sits inside an iframe, the iframe needs allow="bluetooth; microphone; camera; midi".
Radio ready: what mastering does
Most streaming services turn every song to about −14 to −16 LUFS, so louder masters are simply turned down. A balanced mix, controlled peaks and consistent loudness matter more than raw volume. Radio stations add their own processing on air. For a commercial release, a mastering engineer's final listen is still worth it, and stems make that easy.
What a frequency is
Frequency is how many times a sound wave vibrates each second, measured in hertz (Hz). Concert pitch puts the A above middle C at 440 Hz. Some musicians prefer A = 432 Hz, about a third of a half step lower. Neither is proven better; it is a matter of taste.
The "solfeggio" tones
These tones were popularized in the late twentieth century and are widely shared online with claims about healing. There is no strong scientific evidence for those claims. Here they are musical colors; the table shows the nearest note.
Binaural beats and brainwave bands
Play a slightly different tone in each ear and your brain perceives a gentle beat at the difference. They only work with headphones. Research is mixed: some studies report small reductions in anxiety, others find little effect.
- Delta, 0.5 to 4 Hz: deep sleep.
- Theta, 4 to 8 Hz: drowsy, meditative states.
- Alpha, 8 to 13 Hz: relaxed but awake.
- Beta, 13 to 30 Hz: alert and focused.
Allied instruments
Impressions of traditional instruments from the United States and its treaty allies, built from math (plucked-string physics, gong partials, breath noise and vocal formants), not recordings. Use them with respect for the traditions they come from.
The theory behind the Sunday sound
- Extended chords: ninths, elevenths and thirteenths add color above the triad.
- Voice leading: each chord moves to the nearest notes of the next, so the harmony glides.
- The lift: raising the key for the final hook, a classic gospel move.
- Swing: delaying every second sixteenth note gives New Jack Swing and neo-soul their bounce.
- 808 glide: the bass slides between notes instead of jumping.
- Talk box: a synth shaped by vowel filters, so it seems to sing words.
Protect your hearing
Tinnitus and hearing loss are among the most common service-connected conditions. Keep volume moderate (a common guide is no more than 60% volume for 60 minutes at a time), take breaks, and lower the frequency layers if they feel sharp.
