Live loops
Tap a loop to queue it on the next bar, tap again to stop. Letters launch whole scenes. Wheels shape the whole groove live.
Lower on a key plays louder; drag up on a held key to open the sound. Top rows are lush chords, bottom rows single notes. Slide sideways to bend, drag up to brighten and swell, press harder where your screen senses it. Swipe up or down a chord column to strum, tap a string to pluck, slide sideways on a held string to bend it. Slide along a string for continuous pitch. With Auto-bow on, drag up for more bow; turn it off and bow by moving your finger up and down. Left to right is pitch, bottom to top morphs the vowel from ooh to ee. Every finger is a voice; the stack adds harmony. Lower on a pad hits harder. Hold with note repeat for rolls and slide up or down to change their strength. Tap the tone fields. The center is the ding. Notes follow the key. Slide for liquid legato, drag up for brightness and vibrato. Notes stay in key. Tap harder for a harder finger pluck, slide along a string for glissando. Pitch and mod wheels work on every instrument.
How to
- Play a song. Pick a preset and press play. Auto-arrange moves through scenes A to D on its own.
- Build live. In Live Loops, tap loops to queue them on the next bar, or tap a letter to launch a scene. Shape it with Filter, Space, Motion and Crunch.
- Pick a sound mode. 8D Orbit and 4D Field move the mix around your head on headphones; Underwater, Cathedral, Deep Space, Radio Op, Vinyl, Dream and Stadium change the room.
- Play along. Open any instrument. Everything stays in the song key, so you can jam over the loops.
- Keep it. Record captures everything you hear as a WebM or MP4 file.
FAQ
Is any of this copied?
No. Every sound and loop is synthesized from code in your browser: no samples, recordings or factory patches, and all names are original.
What are 8D and 4D?
8D sends the mix in a circle around your head using head-related filtering. 4D adds height and distance. They only work on headphones.
Does touch pressure work on my phone?
Most phones do not report pressure, so dragging up and finger contact size stand in for it. Pens and pressure screens use real pressure.
Can I use a keyboard controller?
Yes, in Chrome or Edge. MPE controllers get per-note bend, pressure and timbre. Computer keys A to ; also play notes.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Everything stays on your device.
